RELATIONSHIPS

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

In the name of Allah swt, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Today, I came across a situation, which made me ponder upon the following verse from the Quran, and it's significance;

An-Nisa' 4:1

O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.

Sura 2 An Nisa Ayah 27 note:

Narrated Jubair bin Mut'im [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu] that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Qati' (the person who severs the bond of kinship) will not enter Paradise." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/5984 (O.P.13)]

WHY, was so much stress and importance, given to the relationships of the womb and not to the other relationships?

For we know relationships, can be formed through friendship, neighborhood, work space environment, social sphere connections and marriage bonds etc. There are, so many different types of relationships and bonds in this world....

BUT, why only the relationships of the wombs, if severed, leads to exemption from PARADISE... ?

WHY?

BECAUSE, it's HARD!

Yes, you heard me right... EXTREMELY HARD.
Anybody who comes from an interconnected family with sibling's, parent's, grandparent's, uncle's and aunt's, will testify to this.

NO parent in this world, is entirely selfless and faultless to their kids.

And, No children in this world, is entirely devoted and obedient to their parent's.

We, human beings, in the deepest of our cores, were created weak.

Mentioned, in Surah An-Nisa' 4:28

يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْۚ وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفًا

"And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak."

So, what we should understand and need to remember is that, our Creator knows us the best.

He knows, we will take advantage of the "blood bond"  between the relationships of the womb.

We will,
misuse that bond,
break that trust,
expect too much
and give too little in return.

We will,
violate their rights,
claim our "rights"
break the bond for the silliest of reasons,
And not mend things, in the name of ego  and arrogance.

YES,
we are humans,  who kill each other, shed blood and spread corruption (Fasad)!!

Al-Baqarah 2:30

" They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?"

BUT, do not forget our Lord's reply ...

Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

"So though it's hard to do it,
Never !! Stop doing it.. "
Never !! break the ties of kin.

Learn, to expect less, from those,
whom nurtured you, played with you
and from those whom you grew up with.

Just because, they are your parent's, sibling's, uncle's, aunt's and grandparent's, does not mean that, they will fully support or understand you!!.

Place your trust in your LORD,
your creator.

And,
by doing so,
you will learn, to accept your kin in their  imperfections,
expect less
and
give more..

Thereby,
following in the footsteps,
of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Saws ❤.
